"Larry Hagman's" Edward H. Bohlin Briefcase. Larry Hagman's personal custom-made, Edward H Bohlin, hand-tooled briefcase with chocolate lacing. The pattern is 2-color brown with dark brown background and lovely acorn tooling. The heavy gauge sterling silver corner plates have 14K gold scrolls, twisted gold rope edges, plus three-dimensional buffalo heads with ruby eyes on the top flap and longhorns with ruby eyes on the bottom. There is a solid gold Bohlin seat plate with the name LARRY HAGMAN engraved thereupon. The straps are secured via two-piece, 3/4" sterling buckles with tips. The silver work is marked with the Bohlinmade, Burbank, Calif maker-mark from the Danny Lang ownership period, c 1980s. Excellent, ready-to-use condition. Priced in the 1987 Bohlin catalog (when gold was $410 per oz) at $6000. Replacement value today at least twice that. PROVENANCE: Larry Hagman Estate. H.H. Heiser Presentation Display Saddle with Bohlin Silver Mountings

Two great makers, one great saddle. Incredible Heiser floral tooled saddle with Sterling silver mountings attributed to Edward H. Bohlin. Two-toned brown tooling with bucking horse on both fenders and “AS” (or “SA”) brand. The brand is repeated in silver engraving on top of the horn. Circular “HEISER / DENVER” mark on the 14” seat. Bohlin silverwork is rope edged and engraved, with raised conchos and classic Bohlin details. Rope edge sterling cantle binding and matching gullet mounting. Initials “B.B.H” engraved on silver plate on back of cantle. Complete with an original Bohlinmade marked brown and cream corona.

Edward H. Bohlin Vest and Chaps

Ladies sterling silver parade set with batwing chaps and matching vest, for the discriminating rider. Starburst design of six-point stars with leather overlay, with 3-step flower conchos. Large engraved plates on the corners. Early Bohlinmade football mark on buckle and tip. The shield cartouche is on each side of the belt. One spot missing on vest, otherwise excellent. A classic, woman’s Bohlin statement piece.

Edward H. Bohlin Sterling Silver Spurs

Snuff Garrett's personal Edward Bohlin, Hollywood spurs with full silver overlay and Cheyenne heel bands. Gold SG initials on the center of the band. Cookie cutter rowels, and well-marked with the small football shaped "Bohlinmade" cartouche. The straps are tooled and decorated with poppy buttons, longhorn rope edge conchos and 3 piece Bohlinmade marked buckle sets. The leather has the large Bohlin shield.

Edward H. Bohlin Boots and Spurs

Lot 120 - Rare and early Edward H. Bohlin silver-mounted iron (not stainless) spurs with Bohlin-made silver repoussé boots. Artistically and intricately engraved, Cheyenne heelband clearly influenced by Ed's tenure in Cody, Wyoming; silver overlaid rowels, classic Bohlin two-piece maker-marked straps with silver conchos and three-piece Bohlinmade ranger buckles. Spurs are fine, 100% original condition, boots show some wear along the bottoms and are 11" toe to heel. Circa 1929.
